It is a truth we rarely think about. When we are busy raising our children, we don’t really think about their future. We view their future in terms of us. Milestones that will be achieved, accomplishments, boyfriends, girlfriends, cars, college…what we want for them. What we don’t think about and what we don’t want to think about is the fact that at some undetermined point in the future, our children’s future will no longer include us, physically.
